Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Unserious. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Unserious is a macOS application that, during a video interview, transcribes the interviewer's questions and suggests short answers in a discreet overlay. You are responsible for how you use it, and for using it in line with the rules of the recruiters and employers involved.
Accounts
You sign in with your email through a one-time link or code. Keep access to your email secure, since it controls access to your account. One account is for one person.
Plans, billing, and the free trial
Paid plans are Standard at 12.90 euros per month and Pro at 45 euros per month, billed monthly through Stripe. Applicable VAT is shown at checkout. The free trial gives you one interview of up to 20 minutes, with no card required.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account through the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current period runs to its end.
Right of withdrawal
If you are an EU consumer, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting to use a paid digital service immediately, you may waive that right for the portion already used. For any refund question, contact us.
Acceptable use
Do not use Unserious for anything unlawful, and do not attempt to resell, copy, or reverse engineer it. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or put others at risk.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may update features, plans, and these terms; material changes will be communicated.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, Unserious is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the outcome of any interview.
